The latest trailer for the upcoming pro wrestling gameAEW Fight Foreverfeatures a first look at former WWE star Bryan Danielson in action. DespiteAEW Fight Foreversupposedly being just months away from release, gameplay for many of All Elite Wrestling’s most popular wrestlers has yet to be showcased. Now is a great time to debut Bryan Danielson, though. The latest confirmation for theAEW Fight Foreverroster will challenge for the AEW World Championship at the promotion’s upcoming Revolution PPV.
Bryan Danielson has been one of the most exciting additions to AEW’s roster since the WWE competitor started running shows in 2019. Danielson debuted in spectacular fashion during AEW’s All Out 2021 event, challenging then-AEW champion Kenny Omega. Since then, while Danielson hasn’t won a championship himself, he’s had impressive feuds with “Hangman” Adam Page, Jon Moxley, Chris Jericho, and most recently, Maxwell Jacob Friedman. Suffice it to say, he’s among AEW’s most elite wrestlers.

This latest trailer forAEW Fight Forever, first revealed during Friday’s IGN Fan Fest event, seeks to recreate one of Danielson’s best matches in AEW. After defeating Danielson in 2021, Kenny Omega lost the AEW World Championship to Adam Page. With Omega out of the picture, Danielson sought the belt and entered into a bloody feud with Page. TheAEW Fight Forevertrailer released today captures the highlights of one of those Bryan Danielson vs. Adam Page matches.
AEW fans get a great look at several key areas of the upcomingAEW Fight Forevergame in the new trailer, with a focus on Danielson’s signature moves. Danielson’s entrance is covered, replete with his entrance song, “Born for Greatness.” Past that, the trailer shows Danielson countering Page diving out of the ring, counteringPage’s Buckshot Lariatwith his own Busaiku Knee. Unfortunately, Danielson ends up losing the match, but fans can maybe change that by playingAEW Fight Foreverthemselves.
In the new trailer, players also get a look at what might be a change toAEW Fight Forever’s violent graphics choices. In a previous trailer, blood from cuts would often pool in the ring. Since then,AEW Fight Foreverhas received a T for Teen ESRB rating, with some worrying it would mean less blood in the game. The new trailer certainly features blood, with both Danielson and Page bleeding profusely, but notably no blood pooling on the mat itself.
Unfortunately, the newAEW Fight Forevertrailer doesn’t provide an updated release date for the wrestling game. Even though there’s no release date, plenty of new information has continued to be shared in recent weeks. For example,AEW’s unique Stadium Stampede match typewas just recently confirmed. Expect more announcements, and hopefully a release date, in the weeks ahead.
