DuringApex Legendsmatches, players have the option to finish downed opponents and secure eliminations. Each character has several unique finishers that, depending on the situation, can produce some cool animations. Players have found that some animations can put players in trouble, likeSeason 5 legend Loba’s finisher that features her walking away after the kill, leading to some players walking off the edge of cliffs. Now, one player has found a Gibraltar finisher that produces some hilarious results.

During anApex Legendsranked match, one player who goes by D2Pigeon on Reddit found a perfect opportunity to finish off an enemy that may have caused more trouble. One of Gibraltar’s finishers features the massive legend performing a backward body slam to eliminate his opponents. However, this player’s opponent was downed at the edge of a cliff, which led to a hilarious finisher.

In the clip, Gibraltar jumps and ends up taking the opponent and himself for a ride all the way down the cliff, into the lava below. Between being slammed down a mountain by Gibraltar and being thrown in lava, it may be one of the mostpainful finishers inApex Legends. However, the finisher left Gibraltar in a tough spot, unable to loot the death box left by his opponent.

The clip also fits the holiday spirit, as D2Pigeon is sporting one of Gibraltar’s exclusive holiday skins. The “Brudda Bear” Gibraltar skin released during last year’s holiday event makes him look like a giant Christmas-themed white bear, and returned this year for theHolo-Day Bash eventhappening until Jul 24, 2025.

As the holiday event is coming to an end, Respawn Entertainment has big plans for its next event. Respawn revealed that Pathfinder will be getting a"Stories From the Outlands" lore videoalong with a special Fight Night event, which may be like previous Town Takeovers.

Now at the midpoint ofApex LegendsSeason 7, many players have foundbugs or glitches on the new map. Season 7 introduced Olympus, new vehicles called Tridents, and the new legend Horizon. Players quickly found exploits including a bug that launches Tridents across the map, and a few spots in Olympus that instantly kill players. Respawn developers have patched many of the bugs, but it has not stopped players from trying to find more for some hilarious clips.

Apex Legendsis out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, with a Switch version in development.
