Modern Warfare 3’s newest update added Tetanus, Satan’s Quarry, and Sporeyard, which are redesigns of Rust, Quarry, and Scrapyard, respectively. These maps can be enjoyed in thenew Vortex free-for-all mode, which sees six players fight over control of a Ray Gun. This brings a unique twist to the traditional free-for-all mode, as players will have to prioritize hunting the Ray Gun owner to keep them from racking up too many kills with the powerful Zombies weapon. The Vortex event also added a new reward track for players to progress through, which features 15 unlocks, with the final one being an animated camo. Players have until January 17 to earn these rewards. Additionally, a Meat 24/7 playlist was added with today’s January 3rd update.

Although the animated Magma camo is probably the most sought-after reward of the Vortex event, players will also earn charms, stickers, calling cards, and XP boosts on their way to the final reward. Users who equip this bundle’s skin will receive an XP bonus after every match during the event.
