Call of Duty: Modern Warfarereceives playlist updates on a weekly basis. Sometimes these playlist updates have upset fans by getting rid of popular game modes from public matchmaking, but this week’s playlist update should please just about everyone. After downloading the latest update,Call of Duty: Modern Warfareplayers can play the long-awaited Gunfight 3v3, which is joined by a number of other modes.

Modern Warfare’s Gunfight Trioshas been hotly anticipated by the community, and it will be interesting to see if it’s as popular as the standard 2v2 Gunfight. However, those who prefer 2v2 Gunfight can still jump into a standard match of that with no problem. It seems Infinity Ward has listened to feedback about replacing popular modes with its playlist updates and will generally avoid doing that from now on.

This is further evidenced by Gun Game remaining in the game, though it’s now relegated to the Quick Play Filter. In its spot on the main multiplayer menu is a new playlist called Same Day Delivery that lets players play Cranked and Drop Zone on a variety of maps. Hopefully this means Gun Game is here to stay inModern Warfareon a permanent basis.

The other change thatModern Warfarefans will notice after downloading the latest update is that Shipment 24/7 is no more. While Shipment enthusiasts may be disappointed by this change, Infinity Ward has instead replaced it with Shoot House 24/7, which has proven to be plenty popular with fans. Previously, Shipment and Shoot House were collected together in a singularplaylist called Shoot the Ship, though it’s unclear if that will return in the future.
