Soap has been mostly absent from theCall of Dutyseries sinceModern Warfare 3in 2011. He received a brief mention in theModern Warfarereboot but has yet to appear on screen. He’s popped up in DLC packs and spinoffs likeCall of Duty: Mobile, but it’s been nearly a decade since Soap played a vital role in the main series. His likely addition as a playable operator inWarzoneis expected to get the attention of series fans.

The bundle will likely be part of theSeason One Battle PassforCall of Duty: Back Ops Cold WarandWarzone. According to the leak, it will cost 2,400 COD points and include new skins, three new weapons, a new charm, a finishing move, a calling card, an emblem, and a spray. It will also feature a new operator mission that unlocks two alternate skins. It’s too early to guess at specifics, but it looks like Soap is gearing up for some alpine combat.

If the leak is credible, theSoap Operator Bundlewill be the latest addition to theCall of Duty:Warzonebattle royale mode. Players can accessWarzonethroughModern WarfareandBlack Ops Cold War,and it features weapons characters from both. It is also available as a stand-alone free-to-play battle royale.

Hopefully, fans will be pleased to get back in control of everyone’s favorite mohawked Scotsman. His presence in spinoffs and add-on’s is nothing new, but if confirmed, his inclusion inCall of Duty: Warzone’s shared world might be a sign of something bigger. If he also returns toModern Warfare, it could indicate that Activision has something big in mind for the future. For now, though,Call of Dutyplayers will have to be content with the possibility of Soap’sWarzonecomeback.
