Besides leaking the supposed games that will be included in theCastlevania Advance Collection, the Taiwan ratings board has also revealed that the collection will include a Rewind feature, which is common in ports of retro games. This should make it much easier for players to complete the titles, though theCastlevaniaGame Boy Advance gamesaren’t exactly known for being overly difficult. However, it should still be a well-received feature as fans can always just ignore it and play the games normally if they like.
Ratings board leaksare usually fairly reliable, but in case anyone was doubting thisCastlevania Advance Collectionleak, there’s even more evidence to back it up. The ESRB has now ratedCastlevania Advance Collectionas well, which pretty much seals the deal that it exists and is going to be announced sooner rather than later. In fact, it wouldn’t be surprising at all if theCastlevania Advance Collectionannouncement came later today.
ANintendo Direct will take place today, September 23, at 3pm PT. The event will be 40 minutes long and will consist of Nintendo Switch-related announcements for this coming winter. Since the Switch is one of the platforms mentioned in theCastlevania Advance Collectionleaks, it stands to reason that it will be one of the projects announced during the Nintendo Direct.
For what it’s worth,Castlevania Advance Collectionis also mentioned as apossible announcement by leaker SamusHunter, who accurately leaked the existence of the Nintendo Direct in the first place. While fans should always keep their expectations in check, it seems like there is a pretty good chance that they’ll get their first official look atCastlevania Advance Collectionbefore the day is out.
