However, the mosthigh profile weapon included in Bungie’s 30th Anniversary Packis the exotic rocket launcher Gjallarhorn. A massive fan favorite weapon from the original Destiny, here’s how currentDestiny 2players can get thier hands on it.

How to get the Gjallarhorn

First things first, the only way to gain access to theGjallarhorn at the present is to own the 30th Anniversary Pack. This will set players back $24.99 but give them access to the Grasp of Avarice dungeon, Thorn Armor Set, returning legendary weapons like Eyasluna, Bungie Streetwear armor, and more.

With the DLC pack purchased, players will need to head to the Cosmodrome from theDestiny 2director and speak to Shaw Han. He’ll pass along the “And Out Fly the Wolves” exotic quest, which begins by tasking players to complete the Grasp of Avarice dungeon to find a Wolfpack Round.

Gjallarhorn makes its return in Bungie’s 30th Anniversary Destiny 2 pack.

After returning to Han, players will need to defeat powerful Fallen inside the Cosmodrome to continue the quest and collect more Wolfpack Rounds. With enough collected, players will need to see Shaw Han and the Banshee-44 at the Tower. Before the weapon is awarded, Banshee will send players to the lost sector known as Exodus Garden 2A to find the last component needed to reconstruct the rocket launched.

Once the lost sector has been completed, players should head back toShaw Han’s camp at the Cosmodromeand use a tool chest in his hideout to finish reconstruction. Finally, speak to Shaw Han to finish this exotic quest.

What Does the Gjallarhorn Do?

With a near max blast radius, Gjallarhorn is bringing destruction with it toDestiny 2. Wolfpack Rounds are once again its intrinsic perk, which splits the rounds fired from the rocket launcher into tracking cluster missiles upon detonation.

However, thebig difference between Gjallarhorn’s Destiny 1 counterpartis the legendary trait. ForDestiny 2, Gjallarhorn has the Pack Hunter trait, which not only increases handling and reload speed near allies, but it grants wolfpack rounds to nearby allies who are using non-exotic rocket launchers as well. Naturally, this will lead to destruction on a massive scale, giving all allies tracking cluster rockets.

Eververse Content

Considering the majorHalo-vibes to some of the weapons like an energy sword, sidearm, and battle rifle, Bungie has also added a dash of Halo to the Gjallarhorn as well. For players who want to spend a little bit of silver,Destiny 2’s in-game premium currency, they can head to Tess Everis and she has a special ornament on sale for the Gjally.

Called GJNKR, the Gjallarhorn takes on a more modern military look to it, complete with red tracking laser and familiar black and green color scheme. Clearly this is based onHalo’s classic Rocket Launcher, known as the SPANKR inHalo Infinite. Interested players will need to fork over 700 Silver inside of the Eververse Store.

Destiny 2is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
