Destiny 2’s Season of the Haunted features the return of the classic Solstice of Heroes event, which this year is simply called Solstice, and it has a very different approach to the grind for loot. This year,Destiny 2players can complete Solstice Triumphs to get materials to upgrade their armor pieces, which can be rerolled to get higher stats and semi-customizable stat distribution. This guide explainshow to make the Solstice armor glow and how to make it work for every piece of armor.
How to Unlock Glow on Solstice Armor
In order to make thenew Candescent set of armor from the Solstice eventglow,Destiny 2players will need tocomplete all the Solstice-related Triumphs in the event card, as each of them awards 1 Kindling.

A total of 6 Kindling is used to make a single armor piece glow, which is done by upgrading the Kindling slot on the armor three times: the first time for 1 Kindling, the second for 2, and the third for 3.
Because the full armor set is made of four pieces plus the class item, players will need to complete allSolstice Triumphsto get enough Kindling, for a total of 24. The class item will not glow until all other pieces have been fully Kindled, as it doesn’t have the Kindling slot.
How to Complete Solstice Triumphs
There are 24 Triumphs associated with the Solstice event, and to complete the full armor glow,Destiny 2players have to go through all of them on every character they wish to have the glowing armor on.
