WhileDestiny 2players still have one more bunker to unlock as part of the Season of the Worthy, others are trying to figure out what the endgame of this quarter’s content will be. Now, a datamine of the game’s files has offered some insight into where thepartnership with Rasputinis going.

Within the Destiny Tracker there is a faction reputation bar for The Warmind that is independent of anything currently going on with the bunkers in Season of the Worthy. It’s only a small detail but it’s enough to have theDestiny 2fan base speculating about what Bungie has yet to reveal about the season.

The most popular theory among players right now is that Guardians will eventually unlock direct contact with Rasputin and it/he will become a vendor. Players will likely donate Warmind Bits to Rasputin in order to work towards so

me form of final goal. Think of it like thePolarized Fractaline donations for the Empyrean Foundationevent.

Although players are actively donating to the EDZ and Moon Bunkers there is still the Bunker on Io left to unlock. On top of that, players don’t really know what the Bunker concept is doing. The intro to Season of the Worthy revealed that theRed Legion is trying to drop the Almighty shipon the Tower but how exactly Rasputin is going to stop that isn’t entirely clear. It could be that this all-encompassing Bunker, or Rasputin, will help actually achieve that goal.

But if the final component to Season of the Worthy is just aWarmind Bit farmand a donation cycle that would be very disappointing. Many Destiny 2 players are already frustrated with this season for its numerous bugs, disabled exotics, and thin content. Not to mention, Trials of Osiris is not the rewarding endgame PvP experience that most Crucible fans wanted.

Season of the Worthy might not be the tipping point forDestiny 2players that pushes them to other games, but it’s also not offering compelling reasons to log in every day. And even those players that do want to actively participate in the experience have to contend with issues that are either frustrating or game-breaking, like this week’sTrials rewards being bugged.

So hopefully this Warmind vendor is more than just Empyrean Restoration in a different form. If it is, though, don’t expect the Destiny 2 community to be happy.
