Tyrael’s Might returns as an Uber Unique item inDiablo 4with a completely new special effect. Series fans who have known this chest piece for years may be surprised at how scary it is this time around, as it can potentially serve as the centerpiece for high-sustain or barrier-centric builds.
Much like all other Uber Uniques, getting Tyrael’s Might is going to be a test of patience. Its extremely low drop chance means not everyone will be able to get it by the end ofDiablo 4 Season 4,but if you know how and where to farm for this item, you might just end up being one of the lucky ones.

Updated June 14, 2025 by Marc Santos:The launch of Vessel of Hatred brought with it some new ways to get Mythic Uniques. Apart from the drop rates being a lot more lenient compared to when the game first launched, players can now craft specific Mythic Uniques, giving everyone a better way to spend their time and energy apart from just repeatedly farming the same boss for hours. Farming Duriel and Andariels is still a great way to get Mythics, but we’ve updated this guide to include this new crafting method as well, including the recipe for Tyrael’s Might.
How To Get Tyrael’s Might in Diablo 4
This chest piece was added to the gameas an Uber Unique, which means it has a miniscule chance of dropping from anything that can drop other Legendary and Unique pieces of equipment. Your best bet at getting Tyrael’s Might is to fightAndariel, a boss from the game’s main campaign that has been added to the roster of availablebosses inDiablo 4.
Just because Andariel drops Tyrael’s Might doesn’t mean that you’ll have an easy time getting it. Apart from needing to farm up to four different kinds of materials in total to eventuallysummon Andariel inDiablo 4(you need Exquisite Blood and Distilled Fear to farm Sandscorched Shackles and Pincushioned Dolls), you’ll also have to consider all the other Uniques that might drop from her after the fight. For reference, she has a total of 24 different Uniques in her loot table, so your odds of getting Tyrael’s Might are still rather low.

If you don’t want to fight Andariel, or if you have some extra Mucus-slick Eggs and Shards of Agony, you can fight Duriel instead. He and Andariel have the exact same loot pool, so if you’re more comfortable beating upDuriel inDiablo 4, then feel free to keep farming him.
Tyrael’s Might offers high defenses across the board, and it can be used by all classes. It gives its wearer bonuses to all stats, elemental resistances, and damage reduction. The most interesting thing about it is its unique effect — Tyrael’s Might makes your Skills unleash divine bolts whenever you’re at full health. As long as you can keep your health topped off, this Unique should always be firing projectiles at enemies. Effects like Barrier and Immune can keep you at full health for longer, so consider abilities or Aspects that grant these if you’re planning a build using Tyrael’s Might.

Mythic Farming and Crafting
As of theVessel of Hatredexpansion, players should be able to get Tyrael’s Might from other ladder bosseslike the Beast in Iceand Lord Zir. You’ll still be subject to the whims of RNG, and if a Mythic Unique does drop from them, there’s no guarantee that it’s going to be Tyrael’s Might.
If you do end up getting the wrong Mythic Unique, you can always try crafting Tyrael’s Might instead. Visit a Jeweler, and bring the following materials:

You can get Resplendent Sparks by salvaging other Mythic Uniques, and you can get plenty of runes by farming Realmwalkers (Season 6), Kurast Undercity, World Bosses, and Tree of Whispers Chaos caches. Alternatively, you can gamble for Tyrael’s Might at the Curiosities vendor or the Blacksmith.
