TheDisney Dreamlight Valley2023 summer update focused mostly on the DreamSnaps feature. This was the first multiplayer-compatible element to ever be put inDisney Dreamlight Valley, which is definitely a big deal. Fans can now participate in community-wide themed photography challenges, giving them the opportunity to earn free Moonstones and cosmetic items. This guide will show players how they can submit their pictures to participate in theDisney Dreamlight ValleyDreamSnaps and how they can resubmit them if they change their minds later on.
How To Submit An Entry
In order to participate in the weekly DreamSnaps challenges, gamers will have to submit an entry that will be shared with the rest of the community once the competition moves onto the voting phase.
Gamers will only be able to use the DreamSnaps feature after they’vemet Vanellope in the castle. This will give them access to the DreamSnaps page in the Event tab.Before attempting to take a picture, players must visit the event’s page to take a look at the challenge that’s currently live. It will display the challenge’s theme, including the required and suggested styles for the furniture or clothing articles used in the picture.
To submit an entry,players must check if it’s a furniture or outfit challenge, and then they must set a scenario that meets the minimum number of articles of a certain style; these objects have to appear in the picture for them to count.
Pictures that contain customized clothes and furniture will not be suitable for submission.
After snapping a picture in the scenario they set up, gamers mustselect the “Show DreamSnaps” optionto see if they meet all the challenge theme requirements. They also have to access this menu to submit their entry.
Challenges are live until the following Wednesday at 1 PM UTC. Then, a new weekly challenge will start, and the voting phase will begin for the previous challenge. This means that previous submissions can no longer be edited.
How to Modify a DreamSnaps Submission
Since players have seven days to submit their final entry, they might change their minds halfway through the week. It’s only possible to participate with one photo, but thankfully,gamers can resubmit their picture as long as the challenge hasn’t entered the voting stage.
To modify a DreamSnaps entry inDisney Dreamlight Valley, players must take a new picture that meets the challenge requirements and submit it just like before. This will automatically substitute the first entry. Gamers can check their submission at any time by visiting the DreamSnaps page in theEvent tab.
If a gamer has tried to resubmit their entry for the DreamSnaps challenge, it might take a few minutes for it to update in-game. They can also try relaunching the game if they’d like to check right away if it worked.
