Enshroudedis an exceptionally well-presented action roleplaying game, most notable for the incredible attention to detail and effort that has been put into hand-crafting the map. Where other games take shortcuts, such as using procedural generation to create a world,Enshroudedgoes old-school. Care and attention have been put into every detail of the game, and that goes for the weapons as well.
As with most fantasy games, swords are very common weapons inEnshrouded. And a traditional sword-and-boardsolo build is very viablein this game. Whether the player is looking to specialize in dealing damage or taking on more of a tank role, a sword is a great choice of weapon inEnshrouded.

Most notably, the update that added the dungeon-style content, the Hollow Halls. Therefore, it made sense to revisit this list, adding some of the newer swords that have been either added to the game in updates or found by players after the initial list was published. Many of the new swords feature multiple damage types, and this gives them more utility, as it means the player won’t have to switch weapons so often to match enemy damage vulnerabilities.
11Sharpened Broadsword
Piercing, Cutting, And Shroud Damage In One Weapon
The Sharpened Broadsword is absolutely huge. The model is really quite overwhelming but very cool. But the best thing about the Sharpened Broadsword, aside from its awesome aesthetic, is the fact it does three different types of damage; piercing, shroud, and cutting damage. This makes it something of a jack of all trades.
Due to its excellent utility, this is a weapon that any sword and board build could benefit from having in their inventory. It can be a little tough to farm, as it isn’t found in loot chests, and can only be looted from the dead bodies of Fell enemies.
10Noble Sword
A Good Min-Game Weapon
The Noble Sword is a good replacement for early-game swords such as the Scrappy Sword, which is crafted bythe Blacksmith NPC. It is pretty easy forbeginner playersto get their hands on, and if a legendary version can be looted, it does the maximum damage that all swords share inEnshrouded.
Finding the Noble Sword is quite straightforward. It can be looted from thePike Capital City POI in Revelwood.However, the player may need to use the reload/respawn trick to loot the legendary version of this sword. This is a great weapon for fairlyearly-game warriors and tanks. Locate a likely chest, preferably a gold one, and take plenty of lockpicks along before starting the looting grind for this weapon.
9Wolf’s Maw
High Blunt Damage Sword
Don’t be fooled by the somewhat low durability of the Wolf’s Maw sword inEnshrouded. This is a fantastic all-purpose sword that will suit many builds as a main weapon. The reason for this is the very high blunt damage. 40% of all the damage this sword does is blunt, with the rest being split between piecing and cutting damage.
Another great thing about the Wolf’s Maw sword inEnshroudedis the fact it is one of the easier legendary swords to loot. Head to the Kindlewastes, Nomad Highlands, or Revelwoods zones, and farm golden chests. The usual save scum technique will work here.
8White Wolf Sword
A Chest Loot Sword From The Kindlewastes Region
The White Wolf Sword is another contender for a replacement sword in the mid-game stage. This weapon is very easy to loot and has maximum damage stats if the player can loot a legendary version.
To find a White Wolf Sword, head to theKindlewastesregion on the map. All the chests in this region have the White Wolf Sword in their loot tables. However, golden chests have a better chance of containing the legendary version of this sword. As usual, the reload/respawn trickcan be used to farma suitable chest.
7Sword Of Radiance
A Contender For Best Mid-Game Sword
Although the Sword Of Radiance is harder to loot than the previous two swords on this list, it is still obtainable by players who are moving into the mid-game stage and don’t have very good gear. With patience and skill, it is possible to skip the previous two swords and go straight for the Sword Of Radiance.
This sword is located in theNomand Highlandsarea. Locate the sport and climb to the top, then use a glider to glide down to the southwest and find a golden chest on top of one of the smaller towers. Use the reload/respawn trick until the legendary version of this sword.
6Ice Blade
Easy-To-Loot Mid-Game Sword
The Ice Blade is a good mid-game weapon for warriors, people playing atank build, or anybody who has dabbled in a fewtank skillsand needs a one-handed weapon. It is another easy-to-loot sword inEnshrouded. Well, easy is a relative term here. It is easy to get to the location where this sword can be looted, but depending on the RNG, it might take some time to loot a legendary version.
Head to theKindlewastesand search for chests, preferably a golden one. After locating a chest, use the reload/respawn trick until the legendary version of this sword is looted from the chest.
5Sacrilegious Steelsword
Piercing, Cutting, And Blunt Damage In One Weapon
Sacrilegious Steelsword is another sword with fantastic utility forEnshroudedplayers. This is a sword with three damage types; piercing, cutting, and blunt. The blunt damage is particularly useful, as this is generally something that maces feature.
The description for this sword is pretty cool, stating that it has been forged from steel taken from fallen soldiers. However, there is a downside to this weapon. It can only be looted from coffins inside the Hollow Halls, meaning it won’t be easy to come by until later in the game.
4Sunbeam
Cutting And Piercing Sword With A Little Fire Damage
Sunbeam is an excellent new sword weapon forEnshroudedplayers to try and loot. As with most swords, it does primarily cutting and piercing damage, although it does have a small amount of fire damage as well, somewhere around 10%.
The really cool thing about this great legendary sword is that it shouldn’t be too hard to loot. It is found as a legendary item in golden chests in the Kindlewastes and Nomad Highlands areas. The rare version of this sword can be looted from silver chests in the same locations.
3Major Arcana
End-Game Weapon That Is Very Hard To Get
This cool-looking sword is one of the best to be found when playingEnshrouded. However, there is a downside to this. Looting this sword is so difficult that manyEnshroudedplayers believe there is a game bug stopping this sword from dropping as often as it should.
Major Arcana can only be looted in thelevel 30 zones at the end of the map.This means that players who are not geared up sufficiently will struggle to get to the location to try and loot this sword.
2Nova
Almost The Best, But Hard To Find
Nova could take the number one spot on this list, but the final selection pips it for one reason, which will be explained. Nova is a great sword, but quite hard to find. There is only one confirmed location where players can loot it.
In theKindlewastesregion, there is a small cave to the north. Within this cave is a chest, and Nova is in the loot table for this chest. However, be prepared for a long session of the reload/respawn trick unless the player is very lucky. But Nova is a cool weapon and worth the effort.
