Crafting the Grappling Hook in Enshrouded
Before having grand plans for this new tool, players will have to establish their initial starting base and gather the necessary resources. Once you are familiar with the process of gathering wood, twigs, stone, and more, the next step will be tocreate a Workbench. It will requirethree Strings and eight Wood Logs. One String is created from three Plant Fibers, which can be obtained from bushes, while Wood Logs can be grabbed by chopping down trees using an axe.
Once that is placed down at the base, approach it and check out thecrafting menu. It is here where players will find therecipe for the Grappling Hook. Players will have to gatherfour Metal Scraps, craft seven Strings, and have 10 Shroud Sporesto craft the tool. While Strings are relatively easy to get, the other two materials will need to be hunted down.
Thankfully, there is a location not far from the starting area. Cross the lands below the Braelyn Bridge and get to the other side, where players will encounterenemies that are clad in metal armor. Defeating them will always yield Shroud Spores, and some of them will drop Metal Scraps. Gather the required number and get back to the Workbench, where the Grappling Hook can be crafted.
Using the Grappling Hook in Enshrouded
Now that you have the tool, go into your Character screen and equip it. The Grappling Tool can only beused in specific situations, with the first time likely to be at Braelyn Bridge. Upon approaching ananchor pointthat can be grappled, anon-screen prompt will appear, sopress Eto attach yourself to that anchor point and swing across.
For larger gaps,time your jump wellso that you’re able to reach whichever platform is ahead, the last thing you need is to land rightin the fog. It is also important to keep your stamina high, otherwise, you will not be able to use the Grappling Hook when the situation calls for it.
