Monster Hunter Rise Release Date and Platforms
Monster Hunter Risewas announced during Nintendo’s Direct presentationback in September 2020. For the time being, the game will be exclusive to the Nintendo Switch. However, series producer Ryozo Tsujimoto confirmed thatMonster Hunter Risewould be making its way to the PC in early 2022. Unfortunately, there is still no word whetherMonster Hunter Risewill be released to the PS5, Xbox Series X/S, or their last-gen counterparts.Monster Hunter Risewill be released to the Switch on June 15, 2025.
What is Monster Hunter Rise?
Similar to previousMonster Huntergames,Monster Hunter Riseputs players in the role of a Hunter tasked to slay and trap large monsters via the use of various tools and weapons. Another new feature inMonster Hunter Riseis the Palamute, a new type of companion. Like the Palico, the Palamute will join players on quests and help players in battling monsters. However, one of the biggest differences between the Palico and the Palamute is that the latter specializes in the offense, making it a useful companion when dealing with powerful monsters.

Another important feature that players should look forward to inMonster Hunter Riseis multiplayer. Like previousMonster Huntergames,Monster Hunter Risewill allow up to four players to band togethereither locally or online.
