Fortnite Leaks, who also goes by Max, tweeted out the information today saying, “new strings were just added to theFall Guyscontent system.” These strings reference theFortniteLlama, Cuddle Team Leader, Peely, Bunny Brawler, and Ripley. All ofthese iconicFortniteskins are easily recognizableto anyone who’s played the game before, so it seems clear thatFall Guyswill be getting some sort of crossover with the massive battle royale title. Unfortunately, it seems like there’s no official word yet on whether or notFortnitewill be getting some sort ofFall Guyscontent at the time of writing.
This crossover event doesn’t come as too much of a surprise, consideringFall Guyshas had some high profile crossover events in the past. Just recently,Fall Guysshowcased aDoomcollaboration, which saw the adorable Fall Guy characters dressed up as the Doomslayer, the Cacodemon, and the Cyberdemon. While the Doom crossover only showcased those three skins, it seems like this upcomingFortnitecollaboration will feature at least five skins according to the leak. Of course, it’s always important to mention that these are still just leaks, and no official information has been confirmed yet.
Still, these leaks don’t seem too far-fetched.Fall GuysandFortniteseem like two properties that would very well together for a variety of different reasons. Hopefully,Fortnitewill end up getting some kind ofFall Guyscrossover event as well in the future.Fortniteis known for having major collaborations with all kinds of pop culture figures, be it real life or fictional. Epic Games has also collaborated with different video game properties recently, like havingGod of War’s Kratos infiltrateFortniteas a playable character.
With any luck, fans will get some official word on this crossover event in the near future. If there is any indication thatFall Guysstill has plenty of life left in it, it’s aFortnitecollaboration. There has been a lot of talk recently aboutFall Guysbeing a “dead game” after it’s meteoric popularity slowly fell after its launch in August.Fall Guysstill has tons of players and community members supporting the game online regularly, so worried players shouldn’t concern themselves too much about the future ofFall Guys. Especially with collaborations like this potentially on the horizon.
