HoYoverse’s latest gacha game has captured the hearts of many players, especially those who have followed its other titlesGenshin ImpactandHonkai Impact 3rd. Because of its growing popularity, creative fans have already posted art based onStar Rail.What setsHonkai: Star Railapart from HoYoverse’s other games is its turn-based combat system, which many fans seem to be loving as it allows them to be creative with character compositions and builds. The post showed the eyes ofMarch 7th, Stelle, and Dan Heng drawn inPersona 5’s cut-in style as if they were about to hit a Shadow’s weakness. In one reply, the player said they also plan on drawing theStar Railcharacters' ultimate ability cutscenes in the style ofPersona 5’s all-out attack scenes.
In the replies, manyHonkai: Star Railplayers praised the fan art, and even requested other characters, like Herta, to be drawn in the samePersona 5style. One user said they hoped to see a collaboration betweenStar RailandPersona 5in the future. With Atlus already releasing its ownmobile game spin-off calledPersona 5: The Phantom Xsoon, a collaboration with HoYoverse may be possible where one of the Phantom Thieves would become a playable character inHonkai: Star Rail. In the past, HoYoverse added Aloy from theHorizonfranchise inGenshin Impact, so crossovers aren’t out of the question.
Honkai: Star Railjust debuted, but it’s already broken records as itreached over 10 million pre-registrationsand reportedly surpassedGenshin Impact’s opening-day downloads. The game has only been out for a week, but it was already dubbed HoYoverse’s biggest launch to date. The developer is just getting started withStar Railas it continues expanding the game’s story and character pool.
Like with many popular games, there are already leaks aboutHonkai: Star Rail’s upcoming new characters. These haven’t been confirmed by HoYoverse, so many players have been taking the leaks with a grain of salt, but these seem to be enough to keep them hyped for upcomingStar Railcontent.
