During a recent Live Letter from the Producer,Final Fantasy 14revealed a collaboration with Gong cha. The Taiwanese tea company has gained international renown since it was established in 2006, with locations now in two dozen countries and counting, including the United States.

Now, theFinal Fantasy 14x Gong cha collaboration has officially begun. From now through August 28, any fans who visit Gong cha and purchase at least three teas in a single transaction will also receive a code for the Mog Station that earns them the Porxie King mount. This unique flying piglet is similar to the Portly Porxie players can get via thePixie Allied Society quests fromFF14: Shadowbringers, but with a cute little pink crown on its head.
Final Fantasy 14 x Gong Cha Collaboration Features
Were that not enough to entice players to visit the tea stores, Gong cha is also offering three special beverages inspired byiconic creatures fromFinal Fantasy 14during the event period: the Fat Cat Brown Sugar Milk Tea, the Fat Chocobo Mango Frozen Tea, and the Cactuar Matcha Milk Tea. Each of these special drinks has a matching cup with adorable decals while supplies last. Additionally, some Gong cha stores also have a number of keychains obtained via raffles or other means, though fans should inquire at their local location to confirm if they are available there.
Final Fantasy 14-Themed Gong Cha Beverages
While theFinal Fantasy 14Gong cha beverages are undoubtedly delicious, fans who visit the store don’t need to buy them in order to get their Porxie King – any three teas on a single purchase qualify them for the code. Once they get their hands on the code, they must redeem it by the campaign cut-off period of September 4.
Unfortunately, the Gong cha collaboration is only available in England, Belgium, France, Portugal, the USA, Canada, Panama, New Zealand, South Korea, and Japan. While its reach has grown substantially over the last decade, some players might have trouble reaching a location – there are only about 200 stores in the United States, and 70 in Canada. Fans who aren’t lucky enough to be near a Gong cha may have to miss out onthis newFinal Fantasy 14mount, or otherwise plan a road trip with some of their fellow Warriors of Light.
