Overwatch 2matches can be pretty dynamic and feature random moments including on clip of a Reaper playing miraculously saving themselves from certain death, only to be killed anyway. Since the launch, players have been capturing all kinds of in-game footage highlighting amazing players or even strange occurrences. In fact, there’s seemingly been no shortage of bugs or issues that many players have been running into, highlighted by a veryunstableOverwatch 2launch due to DDoS attacks and server problems.
Thankfully, Blizzard has seemingly solved the server issues with more and more players now able to jump into the free to play experience. While there are still odd bugs and glitches happening at random, such as unlockingXbox achievements causing someOverwatch 2players to get kicked, there’s been a rise of clips showing off impressive kills or moments during matches. These range from the outrageous, such as a Zarya basically being unkillable in a Total Mayhem match, others showing some serious skill, to some hilarious accidental moments as well.

One that falls squarely in the latter category comes fromOverwatchsubReddit user ArkhamGeyser during a match of Control. Playing as Reaper, ArkhamGeyser was attempting to help capture the point for their team, only for a Roadhog to appear and use the chain hook to pull them into the large hole on the Ilios map. However, ArkhamGeyser uses some quick thinking as they’re falling to their death by usingReaper’s short range teleport ability Shadow Stepto get back to solid ground and escape certain death.
However, the Roadhog wasn’t having it and as soon as Reaper appeared back at the top, they erased all that hard work with a scrap gun blast to finish them off for good. The death comes at the worst possible time as bothOverwatch 2teams are nearing victory, though with the Blue team currently in control of the point, it seems they have the inside track on winning the match.
While most fans seem to be enjoyingOverwatch 2’s shift to 5v5 matches and faster gameplay, there are undoubtedly some who miss the more traditional 6v6 style. Intentional or not, Blizzard has included a way for players to relive classic style matches throughOverwatch 2custom games, where a setting can be changed to allow for two teams of six. While the reveal certainly pleased some, others were not so sure as the switch to only 1 tank inOverwatch 2has solved a lot of the old broken shield meta problems of the previous games.
Overwatch 2is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
