Wizards of the Coast and G4 officially announced Wednesday that the network will debutaDungeons and DragonsseriestitledDungeons and Dragons Presents: Invitation to Party. The upcoming series will be the first made-for-television series to feature fullDungeons and Dragonsgameplay and will star several notable online personalities for its DM and party. Some of the names joiningInvitation to Partyinclude co-founder of Maker Studios Kassem Gharaibeh, Rooster Teeth actress Fiona Nova, andLeague of Legendsshoutcaster Indiana Black, also known as Froskurinn.
Alongside the TV broadcast,Invitation to Partywill be live broadcast to the G4 Twitch and YouTube channels on Friday nights. Viewers will be able to interact with the campaign and have the option to vote on how the campaign’s story will progress. B. Dave Walters, who will be playingthe role of Dungeon Masterfor theInvitation to Partycampaign, was optimistic about the involvement of both parties, praising the cast G4 had assembled for the show and commenting on how the series will be a “unique” take onDungeons and Dragons.
