One of the update’s improvements willaim to decrease loading timesforGenshin Impacton the PlayStation 5, which should appeal to those who don’t like waiting around, especially when loading up the game and logging in on the initial load screen. However, despite the upcoming update seeking to reduce loading times, there will still be some kind of loading and connecting-to-the-servers due toGenshin Impactbeing an online service-based game. Nonetheless, quality of life improvements and general upgrades should be able to improve the game overall.

Aside from introducing support for the PlayStation 5 version, the upcoming update will also add four new characters intoGenshin Impact. On top of that, the update will also tweak the Original Resin system by increasing the maximum storage limit from 120 to 160 while keeping the refresh rate the same. Other changes that players can expect to see are improvements like, an easier way to see which character has which artifacts and weapons equipped, anitem that allows players to set teleport waypoints, and much more. Ultimately,Genshin Impact’s version 1.1 update will be its first major enhancement that will add more content for the game.
