Genshin Impact Banners On Their Way
Confirmed Banners in 4.4
The 4.4 Special Program revealed a lot about the banners coming in the next version. 4.4’s banners will feature fan favorite units likeGenshin Impact’s Nahida, Yae Miko, Xiao, and the new Anemo catalyst, Xianyun. All of these characters have their benefits and there are solid reasons to pull them all.
On the topic ofGenshin Impact’s Gaming character, he will be featured on Xianyun and Nahida’s banners since they’re all in the first half. He’s intended to be a Pyro DPS unit, with most leaks pointing to his best set being Crimson Witch of Flames. Many fans are excited about his arrival since he’d been mentioned in leaks for quite some time. As a new Liyue four-star character, he may be a good pick for the free four-star the event offers.

Nahida is a staple unit featured in the first half of 4.4. She is a wonderful Dendro unit that can drastically change any comp out there. She’s highly flexible and can work with strict and niche units likeGenshin Impact’s Nilouwho has a very specific Bloom reaction unique to her. Nahida can also add some minor quality of life to players who have to farm for materials, since her elemental skill can pick up certain items. As an added bonus, she also has the fun ability to read some characters' minds in-game.
Players looking to refresh their team comps should look at Xiao and Yae Miko. While Nahida is quickly becoming a must-pull likeGenshin Impact’s Kazuha did, Yae MIko and Xiao are still strong in their territories. Asone of the only two strong Anemo DPSs, Xiaois a great pick for those who want to explore plunging attack battle styles. Meanwhile, Yae Miko can do great damage in almost any team and is a strong unit. She can trigger Dendro reactions like Hyperbloom, Quicken, or Aggravate, and is a versatile unit overall.

Leaked Banners For The Future
So far, most leakers are saying thatChiori, the fashion designer from Inazumaresiding in Fontaine, is the only new five-star coming in 4.5. While these things are subject to change, it’s good thatGenshin Impactisn’t introducing too many new five-star units per patch, so players can hold onto their Primogems and see if they want to pull. Some five-stars rumored to have reruns in 4.5 are:
There’s also been some switch up in expectations for Clorinde and Arlecchino. It’s currently unclear who’s coming first, as Clorinde is already visible in leaks, implying she’s sooner rather than later in version 4.6. However, since most signs had pointed to her release in 4.7, this might meanArlecchino is pushed back in her stead. Until things are clearer, it can be hard to tell, but both five-stars are slowly on their way.

As far as leaked gameplay goes, there are heavy implications that the fourth Fatui Harbinger, Arlecchino, will fit in an Overloaded comp. With the recent release offour-star Pyro polearm Chevreuse, there is already a potential unique support for her future team comps. The game seems to be turning its attention to the forgotten Overloaded reaction, which hadn’t had much traction before Chevreuse’s release. With a new five-star who is oriented around it, it’s very easy to imagine the reaction taking the center stage soon in future updates of the Spiral Abyss.
There’s a bit of back and forth about Clorinde’s potential. Some sources say she could be anElectro-Charged reaction focusedGenshinDPS. As an assumed Electro sword unit, there’s nothing wrong with exploring new reactions likeGenshin Impactseems to want to do. However, there have also been rumors that she will be another addition to the Overloaded group of units. For now, players will have to wait and see how things end up before deciding to pull for either of these featured five-stars.
