The officialGenshin ImpactTwitter account has already revealed two new characters that will arrive soon, the long-awaited Shenhe and Yun Jin. However, update 2.4 has not even started yet and new leaks and theories about future updates are already emerging.

EachGenshin Impactcharacter leak usually creates a lot of hype around them even months before their official release. A great example of this is surely Raiden Shogun who has been leaked numerous times before her official release and she still holds the record for being the by farmost pulled character in the game. Another unreleased character who has already become fan-favorite is Scaramouche. A recent leak on theGenshin ImpactLeaks subreddit has revealed additional information about his kit. Scaramouche’s Elemental Skill will apparently work similarly to Klee’s. He will be able to fire a power beam dealing AoE damage. His Elemental Burst description reveals that it could be an overall damage buff,similar to Arataki Itto. There is still no official information about his animations, which means that he will not be released any time soon.
The description for the recently released artifact set Hust of Opulent Dreams has previously revealed a lot of information about the unusual character. It reveals that Scaramouche was originally made to carry the Electro Archon Gnosis, the same Gnosis that Raiden Shogun currently has. The only confirmed thing about him is that he returned to Inazuma and met with Signora, which was followed by the events that played out in the Archon quest back in 2.1. There were previously no leaks hinting about the release date but the fact that Scaramouche has a skill description definitely hints that he will be one of theupcomingGenshin Impactcharacters.
His first official appearance was as an unknown character during the quest “The Crisis Deepens” where he is introduced as a “vagrant from Inazuma.” He seemed to be a friendly character curious about the Traveler’s identity before Mona sensed his true intent and arranged an escape. The mystique surrounding this character leads many players to believe that he is one of the end-game villains. However, there is a chance that he could have a change of heart and become a good guy just like it was the case with one of thefan-favorite characters Childe.
Genshin Impactis now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
