A new leak fromGenshin Impacthas revealed the interior of a domain set to debut in the RPG’s Version 3.6 update next month, likely tied to its newest character. With the HoYoverse RPG set to move into the second half of Version 3.5 next week, players have already gotten a taste of what’s to come in the following update. The developer would revealBaizhu and Kaveh as the game’s newest characters, with rumors speculating a new desert expansion is coming with Version 3.6. Now, leaks are teasing a new domain in the next update.
WhileGenshin Impactwill likely not introduce any major details of Version 3.6 until closer to its launch, leaks have already teased a variety of content in the new patch. Version 3.6 is heavily believed to see the newest addition to Sumeru’s desert, which previously debuted in Version 3.1 and expanded in Version 3.4. The RPG’s next update has also seen content like events and new enemies leaked, includingGenshin Impact’s newest world boss. Alongside new characters and content, a recent leak has shown off a domain being added in Version 3.6.

A new video shared by prominentGenshin Impactleaker group Team Chinahas shown off the interior of the game’s newest domain. The domain is speculated to be connected toBaizhu’s story questwith the interior of the dungeon featuring architecture similar to that of Liyue. The inside of the domain features several mysterious crystals glowing with a purplish energy, likely tied to the plot for Baizhu’s story. The domain appears to end at a large open area with a platform in the rear, holding various pieces of equipment.
Baizhu’s story quest is just one of several new story additions reportedly planned for the Version 3.6 update. Previous rumors have heavily suggestedthe expansive Aranara questlinefeatured in Sumeru’s early updates will be making a return in Version 3.6. The update will also introduce the previously-mentioned expansion to Sumeru’s desert, believed to grow the region to a larger size than Mondstadt and Liyue combined. Each new region of Sumeru has brought with it a major quest series, including the first desert region’s “Golden Slumber” and the second’s “Dirge of Bilqis.”
With Version 3.6 already having multiple pieces of content leaked,GenshinImpacthas seen even more reveals from further into the game’s future. The first characters from the game’s next region of Fontaine have started to receive leaks, with characters likeLyney and Lynette having their elements revealed. Recent leaks have also shown off other unannounced characters from pre-existing regions, including Inazuma’s Kirara and Mondstadt’s Varka. The last few patches of Sumeru look to have plenty in store for players as HoYoverse gears up for Fontaine later this year.
