Genshin Impactis set to receive a major update to its popular Genius Invokation TCG game mode with over 60 cards reportedly coming in Version 3.7. The introduction of the trading card game in Version 3.3 has brought one of the first major permanent mini-games added to the HoYoverse RPG since its launch. The TCG game mode has seen regular updates with each new patch since its release,introducing new Character Cardsand the new “Heated Battle” mode. Now, the card game is set to grow substantially in the next update.
Since Genius Invokation TCG’s launch, several popular characters fromGenshin Impacthave joined the game’s roster with their own unique skills and abilities. The recent release of Version 3.6 saw a trio of new characters added to the TCG with Kamisato Ayato, Arataki Itto, and Tighnari all made into Character Cards. Past updates have introduced beloved characters like Sangonomiya Kokomi and Eula alongside a plethora of new Artifact and Event cards for players to customize their decks. Now, the TCG is gearing up for its biggest update yet with more than 60 new cards.

A gallery shared throughGenshin Impactleak database Project Amber shows off 65 new cards planned for the Version 3.7 update. The new version will welcome a staggering 13 new Character Cards, split betweenpopular playable characters like Hu Tao, Raiden Shogun, and Nahida along with new enemies like the Electro Hypostasis and Fatui Cryo Cicin Mage. The update will introduce several new Equipment cards with weapons like the Amos Bow and the Thundering Poise Artifacts among others.
The massive library of cards also introduces a variety of new Event and Location cards based on settings from throughoutGenshin Impact’s story. Iconic locations like Sangonomiya Shrine and Vanarana will receive their own cards along with prominent NPCs from the story, such as Rana and Dunyarzad from Sumeru. The Archons will also be receiving their own special Talent cards, providing powerful buffs that last throughout the match based on the regions of your Characters. All of Genius Invokation TCG’s new cards are expected to arrive witha TCG-focused event in Version 3.7.
The addition of more than 13 Character Cards and 65 cards total will be the biggest update to hit Genius Invokation TCG since its launch. HoYoverse often looks to iterate on theGenshin ImpactTCG, introducing game modes like “Heated Battle” providing special mechanics and deckbuilding restrictions. HoYoverse has also not been afraid to make adjustments to the game,nerfing powerful Genius Invokation TCG cardsto balance the game.Genshin Impact’s next update will look to bring a plethora of new content for fans of the digital card game.
