A newGenshin Impactchart has revealed the first-day revenue numbers for the new double banner that features the long-awaited Dendro user Alhaitham and the Anemo Yaksha, better known as Xiao. The banner also includes a new four-star character named Yaoyao, whose arrival has been rumored since the game was released back in 2020.
Genshin Impact’s Limited Character Banner keeps changing every 3-4 weeks which means that players still have a lot of time to pull for these characters. Each banner cycle also includes a Weapon Banner that includes two signature five-star weapons and five four-star items, one for each weapon type in the game.

A new post on the officialGenshin Impactsubreddit shows the first-day banner sales for the ongoing double banner. The numbers shown in the chart represent iOS devices from the Chinese server. Even though the banner features the new character Alhaitham, the revenue numbers seem underwhelming, at least after the first day. Fans claim that the main reason why the banner didn’t do as well as many might have expected is probably that it’s placed between very popular character releases. It seems like many players spent most of their Primogems on the previous banner that featured Raiden Shogun and Kamisato Ayato. The banner even managed tobreakGenshin Impact’s all-time revenue record.
The next banner cycle also includes two verypopular five-star characters Hu Tao and Yelan. Even though Hu Tao is one of the oldest units on the roster, she didn’t receive a banner appearance since November 2021. She has proven to be one of the best DPS characters in the game with a unique playstyle that could take some time to get used to. Yelan, who has been confirmed as the second character on the banner, will receive her first re-run in update 3.4.
Many comments claim that Alhaitham’s whole kit seems a bit underwhelming, especially considering that he was one of themost iconic Dendro users in the whole Sumeru arc. Some fans have pointed out that his whole playstyle is very reminiscent of Keqing, an Electro DPS character who is part of the Standard Banner.
The second character on the banner, Xiao, was once considered one of, if not thestrongest DPS character inGenshin Impact. However, the releases of stronger playable characters as well as enemies have exposed some of his weaknesses and his use is very situational in the current meta.
