A newGenshin Impactchart shows how well the ongoing Ayaka and Shenhe double banner did after its first week. The game’s updates are divided into two separate parts, each of which features a different Limited Character Banner. This banner type usually offers one or two five-star characters and three four-star units.

Unlike the first banner cycle ofGenshin Impactversion 3.5 which introduced a new five-star character, the second one did not include any new five-star units. However, a new four-star Cryo user by the name of Mika is included in the banner’s four-star lineup.

Reddit user TimocaSamJa has shared a chart that shows the first-week banner revenue for the Ayaka and Shenhe double banner. According to the post, the banner is currently sitting in fifth place on the all-time revenue list and there is a high chance that it will overtake Ayato and Raiden Shogun. Fans claim that even though they thought the banner would do well in terms of sales, they didn’t expect it to get into the top 5 on the list. One of the reasons behind its success is the fact that a lot of players saved up a sizable amount of Primogems by skipping on theprevious banner that featured Dehya and Cyno.

Even though Dehya was the only new five-star in this update, players avoided pulling for her since HoYoverse confirmed that she will join the Standard Banner afterGenshin Impactversion 3.6 arrives. This was the first banner in the game’s history to feature four different Cryo characters with the Anemo user Sucrose being the only exception.

Kamisato Ayaka is one of if not the best elemental DPS characters in the game thanks to a stacked and flexible kit. She is the go-to choice for most players that need a strong Cryo character, especially considering that Eula, the second-best DPS to use this element, has not received a re-run in over a year. The banner also featuredthe famous Mistsplitter Reforged swordwhich severs as Ayaka’s signature weapon. This weapon can be used by almost any other sword user in the game thanks to its high base stats.

Even though Ayaka is one of themost popular characters in theGenshin Impactcommunity, recent sales reports revealed that Shenhe’s banner outsold the member of the Kamisato clan. This is probably due to the fact that this is Shenhe’s first banner re-run since her release back during the Lantern Rite Festival in update 2.4.

Genshin Impactis now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
