Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2is a first-person shooter developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision in October 2022. It is the sequel to the 2019 reboot and a spiritual reboot of the 2009 game under the same name. The game was released to most gaming platforms, including PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. The game is set in a modern setting, like both the predecessor and the original game under the same name.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2has a single-player campaignand a diverse multiplayer experience. In the single-player campaign, players join once again the iconic Task Force 141 which helps a Mexican Special Forces unit against terrorists in real and fictional locations in Mexico and at the southern border of the US. The game’s playable characters are John “Soap” MacTavish and Kyle “Gaz” Garrick. Other familiar faces include Lieutenant Simon “Ghost” Riley and SAS Captain John Price.
