That’s what happened with Reddit user Navin7143Gamer, who used thePhoto Modeearly on inGod of Warto discover a creepy detail about Baldur. One of the earliest scenes in the 2018God of Wargame shows Baldur confronting Kratos and Atreus at their home. The two have an intense fight, with Baldur showing up multiple times throughout the story as the main antagonist.
Using Photo Mode while Kratos and Atreus are still in their home, players can peek outside and see thatBalduris standing around, waiting for the cut-scene to be triggered. It seems manyGod of Warfans were completely unaware of this, with commenters on the Reddit post expressing how creeped out they are by the discovery.
Kratos and Atreus only know Baldur as a stranger when they first encounter him, though later it is established that he is a son of Odin.God of War Ragnarokwill deal with another son of Odin, as that game will feature Thor as one of the main enemies that Kratos and Atreus have to contend with.Odin himself will apparently be in the gameas well if leaks are any indication, though he has yet to make an official appearance.
God of War Ragnarokwill be about the Norse apocalypse, which is fitting since it’s been said that the game will be theend of the franchise’s Norse mythology saga. It will be very interesting to see what happens in the game and what the future of the franchise holds.
God of War Ragnaroklaunches November 9 for PS4 and PS5.
