A company called Valkyrie Entertainment is working onGod of War: Ragnarok. Valkyrie is perhaps the most appropriately named company to help out on a project that takes place within the world of old Norse mythology, and this is not its first rodeo by any means. Valkyrie helped out on the previousGod of Warin 2018 as well, so the quality of its work is on display. WithGod of War: Ragnarokleaked for PlayStation Showcase 2021, it’s likely the company’s work will be on display again soon.

As of this article, the full extent of Valkyrie’s contributions toGod of War: Ragnarokis unknown. What is known is that Valkyrie is aiding with 3D environment art and possibly character design. If Valkyrie contributed significantly to these aspects inGod of War(2018) as well, then it’s safe to say thatRagnarokwill look very good. The amazing visuals were some of the best parts ofGod of War, a game packed full of good parts. Seeing the visuals again is one of manyreasons players need a PS5 upgrade forGod of War.

This is nowhere near Valkyrie’s second time in the saddle either, as the company is in somewhat high demand. At least, if the fact it also worked on the recentAliens: Fireteam Eliteis any indication. WhileAliens: Fireteam Eliteis definitely a mixed bag right now, its visuals are nothing to scoff at.

Whether or not the full extent of Valkyrie’s contributions will be fully released to the public is not known at this time. Still, with a company that has a proven track record creating good visuals working on it, it’s good to know thatRagnarokwill likely match or surpass its predecessor in shine. Odds are any trailers will only help to keepGod of War: Ragnarokas one of the most anticipatedtriple A games in development.

God of Waris available on PS4.
