Sony’s Santa Monica Studio has confirmed thatGod of War Ragnarokwill get New Game Plus in Spring 2023. Unfortunately, more details on whatGod of War RagnarokNew Game+ will entail are unavailable at the time of this writing. At minimum, one would imagine that it will allow gamers to go back through on the same difficulty with their gear and upgrades intact, but it would be nice if it allowed players to crank up the difficulty as well.
God of War Ragnarokhas multiple difficulty settingsfor players to choose from, including the ultra-challenging Give Me God of War mode. If New Game Plus inGod of War Ragnarokallows players to change difficulty settings, then more players should be able to make their way through the hardest difficulty. There are some games that don’t allow players to play New Game+ on different difficulties, but sinceGod of War Ragnarokcurrently lets players change difficulties any time they’d like, it’s hard to imagine such a restriction will be in place for this particular game.
More information on theGod of War RagnarokNew Game+ mode will come next year, but many fans are likely happy just knowing that the mode is on the way for sure. If nothing else, it will give them the perfect excuse to reliveGod of War Ragnarok’s epic story.
God of War Ragnarokis out now for PS4 and PS5.
