As Robin, Tim Drake has quite the legacy to live up to from the two Robins before him. InGotham Knights, there are plenty of similarities between the characters from video games to comic pages. However, there are some minor differences, that make for an interesting take on Tim Drake.
6Thinks He’s The Worst Robin
Tim Drake has a good relationship with fans as the smartest Robin. Although he doesn’t have Nightwing’s acrobatics orRed Hood’s combat abilities, he is far from the worst. None of the Robins are the worst, as they bring something unique to the table. Even Tim Drake realizes this and sees himself as the third Robin, and an important member of the Bat Family.
For added drama, the third Robin, Tim Drake, sees himself as the worst of the Bat Family. In hallucinations caused by the Court of Owls, he lets his self-doubt and paranoia eat away at him, and also mentions his doubts to Dick Grayson.

5Alias Of Red Robin
When it was time for a new Robin, Tim Drake left the mantle behind and shaped it into his own. Tim Drake became Red Robin, complete with a new look, which features more reds. His cowl was also different, and it’s a completely distinct look for Tim and allows him to move on from just Robin.

When it comes toGotham Knights, Tim Drake is just Robin. He doesn’t experiment with the mantle of Red Robin and simply remains the third Robin to the Bat Family. Even though his outfit may differ from the other Robins, it is still no Red Robin.
4Slideways Teleporter
Tim Drake is just like other Bat Family members in the fact that he relies on gadgets like the grapple gun. This fun gadget allows him toget around Gotham Cityand helps him climb to rooftops and skyscrapers. However, his intellect and use of gadgets are far greater inGotham Knights.
Tim Drake boasts an impressive intellect and has figured out a way to turn the Justice League’s Watchtowerteleportation technologyto zap himself short distances. This allows him to teleport around as a way to travel. He also has a lot of gadgets, including decoys and invisibility tech.

3Minor Role In The Court Of Owls
The Court of Owls was mainly Batman’s fight. The Court found many ways to torture and confuse Batman, and also invaded the Batcave at one point. However, thanks to his superior intellect, and stubbornness to not lose the war for Gotham City, hebecame the victor, even without the major help of his Bat Family members.

Considering gamers’ first tenure into the Court of Owls in the video game landscape, while Batman is dead, it’s no surprise that other characters who are involved in the storyline are not in the comics. For the Court of Owls storyline, Tim Drake is absent from all the chaos in Gotham City and doesn’t play a major role in the slightest.
2Youngest Bat Family Member
There are many Bat Family members just waiting for representation in video games and movies. Tim Drake certainly deserves his opportunity to shine, but forGotham Knights, he is known as the youngestBat Family memberand the youngest most current Robin. In the case of the comics, this is far from the case.

After Tim Drake, Batman’s Robin was his son, Damian Wayne. Damian is younger than Tim Drake, and the two have a friendly rivalry as the two Robins. It’s a shame that Damian is not the Robin forGotham Knights, as a game that features the Bat Family has plenty of great characters worthy of being playable.
1Tim Drake’s Boyfriend
In more recent years, Tim Drake came out as bisexual and is dating Bernard Dowd. Tim Drake marks the second LGBTQ+ member of the Bat Family to come out, but Tim Drake’s relationship isn’t the focus of his character inGotham Knights,as it is just a part of who he is.
When entering the Belfry, Tim Drake will talk about Bernard to the characters. However, he talks of how Bernard thinks he is at school overseas, as he does not know his secret identity. In the comics, Bernard knows and even fought alongside Tim as Robin.

Gotham Knightsare available now on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
