How to Find Scuba Gear in GTA 5
In the game, scuba gear becomes available whenever the player is in water and exits a dinghy, submersible, or Kraken at the Sonar Collections Dock. Once players reach the ground again, the scuba gear will be taken off automatically.
There is a way for players to purchase the scuba gear and keep it permanently. They can do so bybuying the Sonar Collections Dock Property, as it comes with the scuba gear. However, this purchase can only be made after completing Merryweather Heist.
At Paleto Cove, towards the north of Blaine County, players will find the Sonar Collections Dock. It is pretty hard to miss since the place also appears as purchasable property on the map. Once there, players will need to locate a submersible or dinghy, depending on want to ride. Dingys can be found on the right side of the dock, and the submersible is where the dock ends.
If players want to travel longer distances, they should opt for a dinghy. Once on the watercraft, players can direct it to whichever place they want to explore. Simply exiting the vehicle will activate the scuba gear, and players will find themselves wearing it.
After exiting the vehicle and diving into the water, players can swim for as long as they like. The scuba gear also doesn’t mess with the movement controls; they will be the same as regular swimming.
Players can alsouncover hidden weaponsand money by scuba diving and finding crashed boats and airplanes.
GTA Online
InGTA Online, players can find scuba suits available for purchase at the Ammu-Nation (outfits section) as well as Clothing Stores. Like other versions, the gear appears only when the player is in open water.
