A fan ofThe Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomhas made a very helpful map that tracks all routes and locations of the game’s various dragons. LikeBreath of the Wildbefore it,Tears of the Kingdomfeatures a handful of dragons who gracefully soar through the air along pre-designed routes. But with the map being as big as it is, keeping track of where they’ll be at any given time can be difficult.
Tears of the Kingdomhas four dragons that can be found flying around the skies of Hyrule. Dinraal, Farosh, Naydra, and the Light Dragon. The three named dragons fly on relatively small predetermined paths that are mostly contained within one region of the map. The Light Dragon’s route covers a significantly larger portion of the map as it covers nearly the entirety of the map’s perimeter with some small dips in and out of the map’s more central areas.

A Reddit user who goes by the name Minigamerguy123 posted a very helpful map in theZeldasubreddit that outlines the paths ofeach ofTears of the Kingdom’s four dragons. The map is coded in accordance with each dragon’s dominant color. The fire dragon Dinraal in red, Naydra the ice dragon in light blue, and so forth. Arrows along the wavey paths indicate the direction the dragon is moving, and stars indicate which gloom-covered holes in the ground the dragons emerge from and descend to.
Darker-colored paths, such as Dinraal’s dark red path, denote the path the dragon travels while traveling in the underground Depths beneath the surface of Hyrule. For instance,Dinraal has scales that can be fused onto a weapon, so it would be good to know that it takes a path that begins when it emerges from the depths from the East Akkala Plains Chasm. It loops around the northeasternmost edge of Akkala, hangs a left into Eldin, home of the Gorons, then dips below ground again by entering the Drenan Highlands Chasm to the southwest of the Thyphlo Ruins. Dinraal then travels roughly the same path back from where it came, but this time it’s traveling through the depths where it will reemerge from the East Akkala Plains Chasm to complete and restart its route.
All three named dragons take routes that lead into the depths while the Light Dragon never descends. It’s always soaring through the skies while passing through every region in Hyrule, only passing briefly through the center of the map. Minigamerguy123’s map is sure to be of tremendous help to anyTears of the Kingdomplayer who has grown frustrated while trying to locate aspecific dragon to harvest some of its scales or clawsor trying to complete quests.
