Honkai: Star Railcurrently has 22 playable characters, or 24 if one counts the Trailblazer versions. This list keeps expanding. Since it’s a gacha RPG, HoYoverse regularly brings new characters toHonkai: Star Rail. One example is the trio Kafka, Blade, and Luka, who have already been officially announced and should appear in version 1.2 of the game. Meanwhile,Honkai: Star Rail’s leaks bring new information about potential characters almost every day.

Reddit user Administrative_Ad432 shared a video revealing the gameplay for Jingliu, one of the most anticipated characters forHonkai: Star Railplayers. Although not officially announced,Jingliu is coming toHonkai: Star Rail, with several leaks bringing information about the 5-star character. Thenearly three-minute video shared by Administrative_Ad432shows Jingliu in her two versions, the first where the character wears a blindfold and uses her basic attack and skill version along with her standby stance. Jingliu’s face becomes fully visible when she enters the Transcendence state and removes the blindfold.
In addition to assuming a new standby stance, Jingliu in the Transcendence state has a skill that consumes two stacks instead of one, gaining a flashier animation than before. The video also shows Jingliu’s ultimate, and while players cannot see a complete animation, it is possible to get a general sense of what it will look like. While battling alongside thenewHonkai: Star Railcharacter Luocha, the video emphasizes that Jingliu is still heavily under development, so most of her animations and abilities are broken or unfinished.
The Jingliu gameplay leak has madeHonkai: Star Railplayers even more eager for the character.Jingliu is a powerful characterwith an important history in the game’s universe, having been Jing Yuan’s mentor when he first started joining the ranks of the Cloud Knights. Jingliu will be voiced by actress AmaLee, known for her work in anime such asMy Dress-Up DarlingandCardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card.
Honkai: Star Railis now available on Android, iOS, and PC. A PlayStation version is in development.
