In an exclusive announcement trailer,No Returnrevealed that it is launching this Fall/Autumn 2022 for the PC. The title is being developed by a China-based independent studio called BlameTech. The development team is lean with six people, with shared experiences at Tencent, NetEase, and Vancouver Film School.No Returnwill also be published by indie company Pixmain, which is known to have published themobile versions ofMy Time At Portia. According to the official description ofNo Return, the game is centered around a family tragedy in modern-day China. Players will find themselves stuck in a never-ending loop of hallways, with mysteries to solve to get themselves out of the situation.

According to the game’s Steam page,No Return’s gameplay will be inspired by Chinese folklore, and will involve puzzles to help solve the mystery of horrifying endless hallways. Similar to otherupcoming horror titles like MADiSONandLuto, there seems to be a recurring theme of never-ending hallways and home tragedies in today’s list of psychological horror video games.
