PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S owners will have to wait a little bit longer before they can playHouse Flipper 2, as the game’s developer has announced that its upcoming console ports have just been delayed. The cozy building simulator was originally supposed to launch on Sony’s and Microsoft’s current generation systems this March.
Released on PC last December as a sequel to developer Empyrean’s popularHouse Flipper,House Flipper 2offered fans an improved gaming experience that featured better visuals and offered more creative freedom when compared to its predecessor from 2018. TheUnity engine-based title co-created by Frozen District was set to become available on consoles this March 21, but that date has been pushed back, partly in an effort to give the developers more time to apply some polish.
In a recently released trailer, Frozen District revealed thatHouse Flipper2’s PS5 and Xbox Series X/S portswill now come out on April 10. This was done to ensure that the console versions of the game would be completely aligned with the PC build, Frozen District explained. The developer also said that the certification process for the console releases ofHouse Flipper 2took longer than intended to finish. This kind of issue has affected releases in the past, like when an unexpected delay in the certification process slightlydelayed the launch of the Xbox Series X/S versions ofArk: Survival Ascended.
