Luckily, there are a few ways that players can unlockCelestial NighthawkinDestiny 2, but all Guardians are going to need to be patient, or have a lot of luck, Glimmer, or Strange Coins to proceed.
Decrypt Exotic Engrams
The most straightforward, yet lengthy way to getCelestial Nighthawkis byunlocking a prestige rank with Master Rahool, which willunlock Tier 3 Focusing’s Novel Decryption. This allows players tospend an Exotic Engram and an Exotic Cipher to acquire Exotic Armorthat they have yet to discover. Heading to this tab, players can decrypt themselves aCelestial Nighthawkwith a random roll of stats, but always the sameHawkeye HackExotic Perk.
If new players have yet to acquire aCelestial Nighthawk, then there are a few ways that they can try and get their hands on it. One way is to simply progress through the game’s PvE content, as whilst players are finishing up missions, arandom enemy has a low chance to drop an Exotic Engram, which they can take to Master Rahool in the Tower to decrypt it. Another way toacquire Exotic Engrams is through ritual playlist activities. Every week on Tuesday’s reset, players can earnan Exotic Engram for completing 3 activities across Crucible, Gambit, and Strikes. This can be repeated 3 times, meaning each week,Guardians can get their hands on 3 Exotic Engramsfor their Hunters to decrypt at Master Rahool.
Other ways to acquire Exotic Engrams can be throughspending Strange Coinsat Xur in the hopes that his weekly deliveries bring along aCelestial Nighthawk. Yet, a more challenging attempt can be made by looking to the Directory to find a Lost Sector icon, as this rotates daily between different locations. At thisLost Sector, if players complete it on Master or Legend in Solo, then they have a chance of earning an Exotic Engram, but they will have tocheck each day to wait for the loot pool to be Exotic Helmets.
