How To Get Queelign’s Greatsword In Elden Ring

To get the Queelign’s Greatsword, you must face and defeat the invadingFire Knight Queelignin two separate locations (the order doesn’t matter) and collect the necessary quest items. Next, you must use these items to progress the quest and then decide the fate of Fire Knight Queelign.

Fire Knight Queelign’s First Invasion

One of the locations where Fire Knight Queelign can invade you is in theBelurat, Tower Settlement, which can be found in the western region of the map. Take your time to explore this region, and once you discover theSmall Private Altar Site of Grace, you may begin your journey to find Fire Knight Queelign.

Start by exiting the Site of Grace room using the northwestern door, and then go up a flight of stairs. Now, instead of going up the second set of stairs, turn northeast, and continue heading in this direction until you reach an arena-like area with a spiraling tree. Fire Knight Queelign will invade you in this arena, and defeating him will earn you theCrusade Insigniatalisman.

Fire Knight Queelign’s Second Invasion

The second area where Fire Knight Queelign will invade you is at theChurch of the Crusade, located northwest of theHighroad Cross Site of Grace. Players can defeat Fire Knight Queelign for the second time at the Church of the Crusade to acquire theAsh of War: Flame Skewerand thePrayer Room Key.

Before using the Prayer Room Key, make sure that you get theIris of Occultation.

Where To Use Prayer Room Key

To use the Prayer Room Key, you must make your way to theShadow Keep, located in the northern region of the map. To reach the Prayer Room, however, you mustget to the Shadow Keepfrom a different route.

Start your journey from theMoorth Ruins Site of Grace, and use the underground tunnels in the ruins to reachBonny Village. Then, ride east of the village, over the two hanging bridges, and follow the entire length of the road until you discover theChurch District Highroad Site of Grace.

Now, travel northwest along the road and through a tunnel to discover theChurch District Entrance Site of Grace.

Continue heading northwest from the Church District Entrance Site of Grace, and parkour your way over the rooftops to reach the roof of a large structure.

Turn southwest, and proceed all the way to the end till you find the narrow support arch to your east. Sprint and jump onto the arch, and head west to reach another rooftop with a hole in its roof. Carefully jump down the hole to land on a support beam. Then, make your way south to reach a ruined balcony.

From the balcony, turn northeast to find a platform right underneath and a locked door at its end. Safely drop to the platform, anduse the Prayer Room key to unlock the door.

Inside the room, you’ll find a weakened Fire Knight Queelign. Talk to him, and once you’ve exhausted all his dialogue,offerthe Iris of Occultation. Doing so will kill Queelign, and they’ll leave you with theQueelign’s Greatsword.

If you choose to offer theIris of Graceto Fire Knight Queelign instead of the Iris of Occultation, you will miss out on the Queelign’s Greatsword but will gain him as a spirit summon.

Queelign’s Greatsword is a heavy thrusting weapon, and it scales moderately well with strength, dexterity, and faith. The weapon comes infused with theImpaling Thrust Skill, but you can replace it with any other applicable Ash of War. The weapon can be upgraded to +25 using Smithing Stones and anAncient Dragon Smithing Stoneto maximize its damage output.
