Something that was revealed in early promotional material for Insomniac’sSpider-Man 2is the fact that Peter Parker will be able to take advantage of the black Symbiote suit, giving him thepowers of iconicSpider-Mananti-hero Venom. Miles Morales doesn’t gain access to the unique powers inherited from Harry Osborne, but that doesn’t mean Miles doesn’t have any special moves of his own.
In this guide, we’ll let players knowwhen the Symbiote suit unlocks inSpider-Man 2.

How to Get the Black Suit in Spider-Man 2 (Symbiote)
The only way to take advantage of thepower of the Symbiote, players will simply need to progress through the main story.
What Mission Does Peter Get the Symbiote?
We won’t spoil anything here about how Peter Parker actually acquires the power, but it will happen during the main story mission called ‘Good Men.’
PS5 owners will earn the ‘A New Suit’ trophyonce they acquire the Black suit. It’s a Bronze trophy and will get players one step closer to the coveted Platinum.

Is There a Skill Tree for Symbiote Powers?
Once Peter Parker gets the Symbiote powers from Harry, the leftside of his Skill tree will begin to open up. These skills are specifically for the black suit powers, but players do not need to actually wear the suit for the new powers to be used. There are 10 skills to unlock, which will cost Skill Points, just like the other Skills in the menu.
The only way to get more Skill Points inMarvel’s Spider-Man 2is by leveling up by gaining XP. Almost every activity gives players XP, so just keep ticking things off theNYC mapto get more Skill Points.

The first Skill that players can unlock is theSymbiote Strike, which has Peter strike towards enemies, gathering them up and launching them into the air.
