Summary
Jujutsu Kaisenis currently in the middle of one of the most exciting battles in the entire manga that is being fought by the old protagonist of the series, Yuta, against Sukuna. Of course, in this battle, Yuta is being backed up by Yuji, the main character, as well, and together, these two are now facing off against the greatest sorcerer of all time, now that he has already killed some of the most prominent figures in the story, such as Gojo.
Yuta is going all out against Sukuna in this battle and fans already know that taking him down will be incredibly difficult for him. However, this is a do-or-die battle for the young sorcerer. Either Yuta wins, or he faces death in this incredible battle, and the chances for the second scenario are quite high.
Yuta Arrives To Fight Sukuna
Yuta has played quite an important role inJJKas of late. As fans saw recently, Yuta moved swiftly in an attempt to kill Kenjaku. Using Takaba as bait, Yuta successfully managed to sneak up on him and decapitated him with a single swing of his sword. This strategy proved to be successful as Kenjaku has now officially been confirmed to be dead. Yuta also stabbed him in the head, shortly after dealing with the spirits that left Geto’s body. Getting rid of Kenjaku was only the first step in restoring balance to Japan. Now, Yuta knows that the biggest obstacle in front of him is the King of Curses, Sukuna.
It did not take Yuta long to rejoin the battlefield in Shinjuku after dealing with Kenjaku, and as soon as Higuruma fell in battle, Yuta arrived in order to aid Yuji once again. As soon as he arrived on the battlefield, Yuta clashed with Sukuna and traded some blows with him, signifying that he was capable enough of dealing with the King of Curses on his own. Since then, fans have already seen quite a bit from this incredible sorcerer and even Sukuna has acknowledged his abilities already. This battle is surely going to be one that fans will remember for years to come and it is just getting started.
Yuta’s Domain Expansion Vs Sukuna
InJujutsu Kaisenchapter 249, fans saw the incredible powers of Yuta firsthand. Yuta was always known to possess a domain expansion. Fans know that for a special grade sorcerer such as him, having a domain expansion is no surprise at all. Unfortunately, readers never got the opportunity to actually see his domain expansion in battle properly. Yuta was about to show his domain expansion when he fought against Takako Uro, and Ryu Ishigori. Unfortunately, fans did not get to see what this domain actually looked like back then. Now, however, against the King of Curses, it was inevitable to get a proper look at his domain expansion and that is exactly what happened in the previous chapter. Immediately after joining the battlefield, Yuta realized that after all the lives that had been lost, he had to take everything upon his own shoulders and end this battle once and for all. That is precisely why Yuta decided to open his domain and end the battle there. Connecting with Rika completely,Yuta then tapped into the power of his domain expansion, called Authentic Mutual Love, within which his true powers were revealed to the fans.
As seen inJJKchapter 249, Yuta’s domain possesses the incredible power to let him indefinitely copy and utilize techniques. Yuta has copied many techniques over the years and, inside his domain, he can use them indefinitely, which makes it incredibly overpowered. Fans already saw him use one powerful ability, called Thin Ice Breaker on Sukuna’s Hollow Wicker Basket. This incredible spatial manipulation technique was able to break through Sukuna’s anti-domain technique and injured him greatly. The battle is just getting started and fans already know that they will get to see quite a lot of copied abilities from him inside his domain. Yuta himself mentioned that he intends to end this fight inside his domain expansion before Sukuna gets his reverse cursed technique and his domain expansion back. However, actually pulling that off is going to be more difficult than one would expect.
Sukuna’s Returning Powers
Fans already know that Sukuna is returning to power and this is where things start going south for Yuta. Yuta is strong and there is absolutely no denying that fact. However,Sukuna is the strongest of all timeand any character who faces him in battle has a high chance of dying. In that regard, Yuta is absolutely no different. While right now, he might have the upper hand in battle, simply down to the fact that he is incredibly powerful and Sukuna is nerfed, that certainly won’t be the case throughout this battle. It has already been made quite clear that Sukuna’s powers will return to him and Yuta clearly noticed that his reverse cursed technique output was increasing with each passing second. According to Yuta himself, it won’t be long until Sukuna’s reverse cursed technique output returns to normal. At the same time, he also recognizes the fact that Sukuna will soon be able to utilize his domain expansion once again, and when all that happens, he will be back at his very best.
As soon as Sukuna gains all his powers back, it will be incredibly difficult for Yuta to take him down in battle and that is where things will start going south for him. While Yuta is going to shine, he certainly is not strong enough to take down Sukuna at the best of his abilities. Even if he has Yuji’s support, Yuta simply cannot fulfill a task this mammoth. Fans already know thatYuta will most likely fail in taking down Sukuna inside his domain.This could either be because of some hidden technique that Sukuna has that Yuta doesn’t know about, or, Sukuna will likely regain his ability to use domain expansion and then expand his own domain. Regardless of what way he chooses, Yuta most likely cannot take him down here.
Will Yuta Die Vs Sukuna?
The question of whether Yuta dies or not is one that only the author can answer. However, what fans know is thatYuta is one of the next-generation charactersthat have inherited Gojo’s will. If Gojo has already died, then the chances of Yuta dying are lowered. This is simply because someone has to carry his will and, fans know themselves that Yuta is often considered to be the secondary protagonist of the series. In that case, the chances for him dying are low. What fans can be sure about, however, is that Yuta will most definitely not be able to defeat Sukuna and will fall to him in battle. He might be grievously injured, which is something that is expected, especially when Sukuna’s domain expansion returns to him.
Fans already know what damage Sukuna is capable of doing with his incredibly powerful domain expansion and the onslaught cannot be stopped by just any sorcerer. As such, it is highly likely that Yuta will get severely injured in this battle, and when that happens, the only thing that he can really do is hope that someone moves him away from the battlefield.
