The long-awaitedLike a Dragon: Ishinis available to western fans of theYakuzaseries. Like the mainline series,Ishinfeatures a lot of Substories to complete, and one of the lengthier ones is calledIt’s a Long Story. The good thing about this quest is that players don’t have to do much. The bad thing is they need to listen and pay attention to a lady named Sakiko telling a remarkably long-winded story, thenanswer her questions correctly.
How to Start It’s a Long Story Substory
Sakiko can be located in the eastern part of the South Yashikimachi area, near the woodcutter. Ryoma then overhears Sakiko gossiping with another lady until she tells her she’s had enough of her long stories and walks away. Ryoma should approach andconverse with Sakiko to begin the It’s a Long Story quest in Chapter 2ofLike a Dragon: Ishin.
There arethree parts of the substory to complete, and Ryoma will gain virtue and rewards for finishing them.

It’s A Long Story Answers
Players can choose to read what Sakiko says, but the information is useless in the long term. So for players that want to skip through everything she has to say, the answers to her questions are as follows:
With the first part of the substory complete, Sakiko will rewardIshin’sRyomawith a crafting material calledGold Seal. He will also gain a minimum of300 virtue- more if players have purchased the Virtue Cultivation upgrade from a shrine.

It’s a Long Story - The Final Chapter Answers
After completing the first part of the substory, it’s better to start wandering the town, completing side quests, and beating up bad guys to pass the time. After some time has passed,return to where Ryoma first spoke to Sakikoto initiate the second part of the substory, calledIt’s a Long Story - Final Chapter.
Once again, players can listen to herlong storiesor take advantage of this guide and save some time by skipping ahead. The answers to the second part are as follows:

After answering correctly, Sakiko will reward Ryoma with another crafting material called theTear of the Dragonand350 virtue points. With the Final Chapter complete, Sakiko will inform Ryoma that she has an epilogue to tell him.
It’s a Long Story - Epilogue Answers
Once again, leave the area and explore, then return to the same spot to converse with Sakiko for the last time to complete the substory.
The answers to the epilogue section are as follows:
After answering Sakiko’s questions correctly, she will reward Ryoma with anothercrafting itemcalled aGold Medicine Caseand350 virtue points. In the middle of Sakiko’s questions, she gets interrupted by a man that tells her he loves her stories.
So with the quest finished, Sakiko will walk away a happy woman with her potential new love interest, and Ryoma will be relieved that he no longer has to listen to her stories.
