Thesecond week of the Rooskaya Protocols eventis here and players have a little less than a week left to finish the current challenges and unlock the limited time rewards before the event is replaced by the Red Room Takeover on May 20. WhileMarvel’s Avengersfans are logging into the game to take care of those tasks this weekend, they should take some time to complete the usual weekly tasks and challenges, as well.
The current event has some excellent rewards up for grabs in including some XP, gear, and lots of new nameplate and costume cosmetics in the Marketplace. The usual weekly Priority events don’t change things up all that much from the usual rewards, but that doesn’t mean they won’t be worth the time investment - especially consideringthe new Champion System updatethat makes XP relevant to endgame players once again. WhileMarvel’s Avengersplayers are online and checking out all of the new content and event options, they’ll likely want to complete the weekly rotation of tasks and challenges, as well.

The week 37 rotation is offering players a chance to complete the usual amount of low or high level challenges to claim some guaranteed rewards. The incentives can be pretty useful for players who haven’t hit max power level yet, but thanks to the new Champion System the XP rewards are going to be useful for everyone for a while. It makes sense to get the week started with theHARM and Priority Missionsand earn those rewards first before moving on to the event’s more challenging tasks.
This week is built around content that players should be used to at this point and the rotating challenges deliver some fresh motivation to revisit existing missionsthanks to guaranteed rewards. All of the missions up for grabs offer some unique challenges and require a bit of strategy thanks to special modifiers that players will have to adjust to.
Most high level heroes are likely very familiar with all of the different modifiers that the game rotates through by this point and have hopefully figured out how to adjust their strategy to successfully power through the weekly grind without any real problems.
Guaranteed Reward: Polychoron & Hero-Specific Gear
Priority HARM Challenges
Priority HARM Room Challenges have additional modifiers and reward comics that increase your collection and boost your stats.

Mega Hive
“The Mega Hive is a single-player chain of eight missions that tests your team’s might. Each week you’ll have a shot at completing the Mega Hive mission chain. When you defeat all eight missions, the Mega Hive mission chain is removed from the War Table until the next weekly refresh, when you can run it again with new modifiers.”
Weekly Rewards: As you progress through the Mega Hive, rewards start as basic gear, resources, and small amounts of cosmetic currency. The more missions you survive, the more resource drops increase. As you near the final mission, you’ll see better gear and artifacts awarded more often, as well as increased chances for patterns/nameplates. When you complete all eight Mega Hive missions you’ll be rewarded with exclusive goodies reserved for this gauntlet, including a significant amount of high-quality resources.
Note:Once again, this week’sMarvel’s Avengersblog update did not include any information on the Mega Hive or its weekly modifiers. After a second week with no Hive Update has part of the weekly rotation blog post, it seems like that piece of content is just being left out the updates for now and players will have to login to the game to learn about the current modifiers.
That should be just about everything players need to know to prepare for the current week’s challenges. Completing the tasks while starting on the Red Room event challenges is a good tactic, so players should make sure to dive in and earn those rewards.
