Marvel’s Spider-Manis known for having a top-notch photo mode as well as a dedicated community that constantly makes use of it. One common activity has seen players creating posters withinMarvel’s Spider-Man, and a Redditor recently continued that trend with some images based onThor: Love and Thunder.

Thor: Love and Thunderis the latest entry in the MCUand the fourth film in theThorfranchise. Helmed by Taika Waititi, the director ofThor: Ragnarok, the film has the same over-the-top visual style and quirky comedy that made its predecessor such a success. While its reviews have been less strong than expected, with critics citing pacing issues in the first half of the film and a lack of scenes with Gorr The God Butcher as key issues, it still has plenty of personality. This personality extends to the movie’s posters, with Reddit user LobokVonZuben paying homage to the designs.

WhileMarvel’s Spider-Manposters are nothing new, the focus is usually always on the live action Spider-Man films. This makes sense given the fact that most of the suits from those movies are in the game, and it is far easier to create a tribute to other Spidey content within a game that is based on the same character. Still, LobokVonZuben took on the challenge of making someMarvel’s Spider-Manposters withThor: Love and Thundervibes, and their hard work paid off.

This fan’s posters featurePeter Parkerin the Spider-Punk suit, which seems like an appropriate choice given the tone ofThor: Love and Thunder. The Redditor manages to capture a blue and orange sky in the background, which is key to capturing the feel of the original posters that they were inspired by. In the first of these images, which the artist cleverly dubbed “Webs and Thunder,” Spider-Man is seen leaping into the air with an arm raised in the sky. The second poster sees the hero plummeting to the ground with a close up on his mask, which is a particularly neat angle.

What really makes these posters work so well is the Electric Punch suit ability, which fans can get access to through the Electrically Insulated Suit. Fans have already used this ability torecreate Miles Morales’ powers in the originalMarvel’s Spider-Man, as Electric Punch adds some lightning-covered punches to Peter’s arsenal. This blue electricity is visible on his hands in both posters, allowing Thor’s signature power to be present in the gorgeous pair of images.

With plenty more MCU films on the way, includingBlack Panther: Wakanda Forever, perhaps fans will remake some more posters in theMarvel’s Spider-Mangames. For now, though, fans have thisThor-like Spider-Man design to appreciate.

Marvel’s Spider-Manis available now on PS4 and PS5. A PC version will be released on August 12.
