Nightmare is a boss inMetroid Fusion’s Sector 5, and players will receive the Gravity Suit upon defeating it. This Power Suit upgrade allows Samus to move freely when in water, and fans will use it in order to reach the next areas of the game. For those players that may be stuck as they attempt to navigate through those next areas, this walkthrough details exactly where to go after beating Nightmare and obtaining the Gravity Suit inMetroid Fusion.
Metroid Fusion: After Nightmare Walkthrough
After beatingNightmare inMetroid Fusion, players should make their way to theright sideof Nightmare’s room and begin running to theleft. Starting from that position will allow fans to activate Speed Booster andbreak through the wallin the next corridor, and they should continue to the left anddrop into the waterbeyond it. Players should then use thedoor on their right, make their way to thebottom of the next room, and then pass through the door on theleft.

Players will now find themselves in anarrow vertical room, and they should use Space Jump to reach and grab aledge on the right. Fans should then fire aMissile inMetroid Fusionat the wall to the left to reveal aholethat can be entered with the Morph Ball ability. This ability must then be used to traverse a small maze and obtain anEnergy Tank.
Players should now make their way back to thenarrow vertical room, use the door in itsbottom-right corner, andclear all the enemieson the bottom of the next room. This will give fans enough space to activate Speed Booster andbreak through two wallsin the room to the right. Notably,Metroid Fusionplayerscan perform aShinesparkbetween those two walls to access a small alcove that is home to a Power Bomb Tank.

Fans should now continue to the right and enterSector 4, activating Speed Booster along the way. Not long after reaching Sector 4, players will encounter a gap, and they should jump just before falling tobreak through a wallthat blocks a door.Metroidfansshould pass through that door and then use the door that is straight ahead to reach aSave Station.
Once a save has been made, players should exit the Save Station and use the door that is just below to enter a long horizontal room. There is aMissile Tankat the end of this room, and fans can fill up their Energy by dispatching theMetroidenemiesthat they encounter along the way.

With that collectible obtained, players should backtrack and use the door on the left of the long horizontal room. After passing through that door, fans of2DMetroidshould jump against the wall directly across from them in the vertical room. There is aholein this wall, and it leads to an alcove in which aPower Bomb Tankcan be found.
Fans are now ready to make their way to thebottom-left cornerof the vertical room, and they should pass through the door upon arrival. Players should then continue to the left and place aPower Bombinside thetunnelthat they encounter. This explosion will reveal a hole in the top of the tunnel, and fans should use aMissileto clear an upward path forMetroid’s Samus Aranto traverse.

From the top of the tunnel, players should headup and to the right, shoot a piece of terrain in thetop-right cornerto clear it, and then use Morph Ball to enter an alcove with aPower Bomb Tank. Fans should then exit the alcove, shoot at a vent that is across the way, and pass through the hole that they created to reach a new room to theleft.
On the left side of this new room, players will encountertwo ventson the ground, and they should use a Bomb to get through them. Fans will then find themselves on a platform with four vents, and they should use a Bomb to clear thethirdone and enter themazethat is below. Here are the steps that must be taken in order to get through this maze, and fans ofMetroidgamesshould feel free to use a Power Bomb to quickly destroy several of the blocks at once:
