YouTubestar MrBeast is on the brink of owning an entire suburban neighborhood in North Carolina, according to a newly surfaced report. Whilelavish spending is part of the MrBeast brand, his recent real estate activity has nothing to do with his extravagant video stunts, although that doesn’t necessarily make it any less expensive.
Prior to making it big on YouTube, Jimmy Donaldson grew up in Greenville, the most populous city in Pitt County, North Carolina. His current media team, which consists of some 30 people, includes plenty of his childhood friends from the area. And whileMrBeast continues to break YouTube recordson a regular basis, he’s still based out of the 87,000-strong city in North Carolina.

Donaldson actually appears to be strengthening his ties to the area, with the New York Post reporting that the 25-year-old purchased multiple houses surrounding a cul-de-sac in a suburban neighborhood on the outskirts of Greenville over the course of the last several years. The real estate has reportedly been allocated between MrBeast, his family, and his employees. The YouTuber currently owns five out of the six houses on the street, having purchased his first one in 2018 for approximately $320,000, as per the same report. That two-story unit remains his home to this date.
MrBeast reportedly bought four more surrounding properties in the coming years, most of which were purchased off-market and hence yielded above-market prices. The only exception was a unit that went on sale in 2020 and cost $263,000, thus being the most affordable of the lot. In total, theYouTubestar spent just over $2 million on his five Greenville properties over the course of the last half a decade.
Following that historic success, the famous entertainer now appears to be strengthening his focus on philanthropy. His latest video, whichMrBeast spent months teasing as his biggest project yet, documented an effort to gift cutting-edge hearing aid to 1,000 deaf people.
