Infinity Ward has changed how players kit up and customize gear for missions in theCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 3campaign. Featuring Open Combat Missions that function similarly toWarzoneor DMZ, players will have to find and scavenge equipment from around the mission area to add the weapons and equipment to the mission arsenal. Once a weapon, field upgrade, or tactical equipment is found, the item will become permanently available at the start of the campaign mission when creating a loadout. These items transfer across difficulties as well, meaning players can go through on Recruit or Regular difficulty and find all the supply crates to have the weaponry available on alater replay on Hardened or Veterandifficulty.
All 29 weapon supply cratesin the mission Reactorcan befound before entering the reactor areaof the mission, and players can use thespotter scopeto tag crates andmark their location permanently.
