As revealed via a set of cardboard standees sold byAdvanced Graphics, the new looks feature the returning characters in poses that evoke a walk across a modeling runway in between space battles. Alongside Rosario Dawson’s Ahsoka Tano, Natasha Liu Bordizzo’s Sabine and Mary Elizabeth Winstead’s Hera look ready for action, or at least a photo shoot. The collection also includes C1-10P (aka Chopper), everyone’s little fan-favorite war crime droid fromRebelswhose penchant for chaos is so infamous that a Google search for the character will auto-complete to “Star WarsChopper kill count.”

Sabine was last seen at the end ofRebelssetting off with Ahsoka in search of Ezra Bridger, the young Jedi who pulled off a dangerous gambit to thwart Grand Admiral Thrawn and save the rest of the Rebellion. This new look largely matches her appearance during that final scene, with shorter hair than the rest of the series and a slightly less airbrushed look to her Mandalorian armor.Bordizzo channeled a young Han Solo in her Sabine audition, so the rebellious and hotheaded nature suggested by her look here feels right on target.
Hera, meanwhile, sports a similarly new look while still looking instantly recognizable toRebelsfans. While she’s got a new jacket with a comfy-looking fleece collar, the orange pants and goggles evoke the character’s iconic look from the animated series.Winstead’s take on Hera Syndullawill likely draw out the serious aspects of the character, given the loss she suffered throughoutRebels, including the heroic sacrifice of her love, the Jedi Kanan Jarrus. But that doesn’t mean she’ll be a somber shell of a person, as she’ll also have her son Jacen with her, sporting a new look as teased by a recentAhsokaLEGO set.

The looks for every character seem to be remarkably faithful to their original appearances onRebels, with Ahsoka boasting a style that almost meshes each of her previous vibes since her debut inStar Wars: The Clone Warsand Chopper identical to its time onRebelsand its blink-and-miss-it cameo inRogue One: A Star Wars Story. The show certainly has the visual aspect down. Now, all that’s left is to hope Chopper’s disregard for life is still as delightfully intact as ever.
Star Wars: Ahsokawill premiere its first 2 episodes on Disney Plus on August 23rd, 2023.
