The livestreamed showcase will feature “roughly 40 minutes of information mainly focused on Switch games launching in the first half of 2022,” according to a tweet fromNintendo. Where to Watch the February Nintendo Direct
Nintendo fans can watch the 40-minute presentation on Nintendo’s official YouTube channel. The video is embedded below, so fans can have it ready to go once the company goes live. Of course, for those that have responsibilities to attend to at the time of the Direct, such as work or school, they can view the entire video later. Nintendo typically releases the entire Nintendo Direct as its own video onto its YouTube channel. So don’t fret if watching it live is not possible. Just make sure to stay off social media, so fans don’t get spoiled on thebig surprises Nintendo has in store.

What to Expect from the February 2022 Nintendo Direct
Many Nintendo fans have been waiting patientlyforThe Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wildsequel, so hopes are high that Nintendo will unveil something related to the still-untitled first-party game. However, Nintendo has stated that this showcase will focus on early 2022 titles, so fans should expect to see more gameplay footage forKirby and the Forgotten Land,Triangle Strategy, andAdvance Wars 1 + 2: Re-Boot Camp.
Splatoon 3could also be shown, as it has yet to get an official release window from Nintendo. This would be a great time to really pull back the curtain on it and give fans a set launch day, or at least a launch window.Splatoon 2launched in the summer of 2017, and fans canpotentially seeSplatoon 3release this summer, five years after the second game in the series.
As for other games in limbo at the moment, likeBayonetta 3andMetroid Prime 4, fans will just have to wait and see.
