Summary
Luffy is an incredibly powerful pirate, having recently become an Emperor of the Sea as well. He has a bounty of 3 billion berries on his head and, using the powers of the Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika, along with the power of all three types of Haki taken to the next level, he has become formidable for anyone to take on in battle.
Since Luffy has been continuously fighting ever since he set out on his pirate journey, he has had to evolve his skill set considerably. Currently, Luffy possesses some of the most amazing attacks in his arsenal, some of which can even take down the strongest in a single hit.
10Gomu Gomu no Kong Rifle
Kong Rifle is a technique that Luffy utilizes in Gear 4th. This technique sees Luffy use the regular version of the rifle, where he twists his arms to generate more power and hit his enemy.
When he punched Kaido with it, he was seen bleeding from his mouth and was sent flying.
9Gomu Gomu no Kong Gatling
Kong Gatling is a technique that Luffy utilizes after tapping into the power of Gear 4th. This is a powerful attack that sees Luffy throw a barrage of kong guns. To put the strength of this technique into perspective, a single Kong Gun was powerful enough to send Katakuri flying through multiple buildings and deal tremendous damage to him.
This was before Luffy advanced his Haki to the next level. After taking Haki to the next level, Luffy hit Kaido with this powerful Kong Gatling and knocked him down for a considerable period of time.
8Gomu Gomu no Hydra
Gomu Gomu no Hydra is another amazing ability that Luffy utilized against Kaido. This power was tapped into by him once he returned to Onigashima rooftop after being knocked down by Kaido.
This attack sees him launch a barrage of powerful culverin-like punches, however, this technique is coated in Conqueror’s Haki and it hit Kaido directly in the face, sending him flying through several mountains.
7Gomu Gomu no Mogura Pistol
Luffy utilized Gomu Gomu no Mogura Pistol in his fight against Rob Lucci.This attack saw him punch the ground, turn it into rubber, and then create a diversion, punching his enemy from places he would least expect using the ground itself.
This technique was so strong that Rob Lucci ended up coughing up blood despite using his awakened form, which fans know is very powerful.
6Gomu Gomu no King Kong Gun
King Kong Gun is one of Luffy’s strongest techniques and it sees him inflate his Kong Gun even further to make it very big. This technique was used against Doflamingo from above.
It was powerful enough to completely crush his 16 Holy Bullets, his Spider Web, and him along with it, and sent him crashing through the plateau of Dressrosa.
5Gomu Gomu no Over Kong Gun
Over Kong Gun is an incredible ability that Luffy used in his fight against. It resembles a King Kong gun, however, it is much stronger, given that it is quite big and also sees the usage of Conqueror’s Haki on top.
This technique was used by Luffy against Kaido twice, and it dealt tremendous damage at both times.
4Gomu Gomu no Dawn Rocket
Gomu Gomu no Dawn Rocket is one of the strongest techniques that Luffy has utilized in the story so far. This technique debutedin the fight against Rob Lucci in the Egghead Island arc.
It was so strong that this technique almost made him pass out despite using his awakened state. It is, by far, one of the strongest techniques that Luffy has used to date.
3Gomu Gomu no Gigant
Gomu Gomu no Gigant is a gigantification techniquethat Luffy uses in Gear 5.Essentially, this turns him into a giant version of himself, which is much stronger, and much larger as well.
Of course, Luffy sacrifices speed when he does this, however, the strength of this form is absolutely immense. Even Kaido had trouble dealing with it and it has many applications in battle.
2Gomu Gomu no White Star Gun
White Star Gun is one of Luffy’s strongest techniques to date.This attack was used against Kizaru, when these two fought in the Egghead Island arc. This technique sees Luffy spin very fast and then prepare a powerful spinning fist that is coated in Conqueror’s and Armament Haki.
This fist then hits his opponent directly in the skull, turning them into rubber and concussing them greatly. Kizaru was knocked down by a single hit from this technique and couldn’t even sit up for several minutes.
1Gomu Gomu no Bajrang Gun
Bajrang Gun is Luffy’s strongest technique to date.This attack was used against Kaidoand it completely destroyed him in battle. Luffy inflates his fist to be as big as an island itself. He then coats it in both Armament and Conqueror’s Haki. He then retracts the fist just as he does with Gear 4.
This attack is then launched at his enemy and it also sees the usage of advanced grade Armament Haki, meaning it does damage from distance and from the inside out. It was so strong that it completely crushed Kaido and sent him to the underground volcano in Wano.
