While its story and setting are largely based onCall of Cthulhu, the game’s pixel art aesthetic has been heavily inspired by anime media. Three more games are confirmed to be coming to the XGP library before month’s end, starting with WW1 FPSIsonzoand survival horrorThe Callisto Protocol, both of which will arrive on June 13. The Chinese Room’s psychological horrorStill Wakes the Deepis then scheduled to have a day-one release on the service five days later.
In the meantime, five titles will leave the XGP catalog on June 15, with that next wave of departures comprisingHigh On Life,Rune Factory 4 Special,Bramble: The Mountain King,Spacelines from the Far Out, andThe Bookwalker: Thief of Tales. Microsoft is expected to announce the second wave of June 2024 Xbox Game Pass additions in the days ahead.
